Spanish Community Officer

eRepublik.com is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and proactive Spanish speaking community officer.

The Community Officer needs to have a strong desire of working collaboratively in a team, as well as be able to complete tasks from start to finish with little supervision.

Being aware of the latest technologies and techniques used in implementing and maintaining successful gaming communities would represent an advantage in the contribution brought to our community projects.

Areas of responsibility include interacting with fansites, supervising eRepublik Game Moderators, and assisting in various other gaming events such as fan fairs and player gatherings.

The ideal candidate would be an avid eRepublik fan with experience as a member or moderator of a forum-based community, a strong understanding of popular social networking trends on the Internet, as well as a desire to implement new projects.

An even temper and a passion for providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment are essential. Also, this person would be highly motivated, conscientious, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in Spanish
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Strong understanding of eRepublik’s fansite communities and multiplayer communities, as well as current online community trends and technologies
  • Proactive attitude to assist in the implementation of new eRepublik community projects
  • Customer-service skills and a professional attitude
  • Time-management and organization skills
  • Desire to implement new projects and initiatives
  • Ability to complete tasks with a high level of detail, in a timely and organized manner, with little supervision

Optional requirements (would represent a bonus for the candidate)

  • Previous community-management and/or forum-moderation experience
  • Previous public relations and/or customer-service experience
  • Creation of strategy guides, e-articles, etc.
  • Comfort in occasional public speaking roles
