eRepublik.com is looking to hire an experienced Software Architect to join the team. We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual who will be responsible for developing eRepublik.com to meet the community needs. Candidates should be excellent team players, capable of leading fairly large development teams, and able to manage multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities include:

• Research, design, and write software to specifications, either individually or leading a team of other developers
• Work closely with the CTO and QA Manager to plan ongoing feature development, product maintenance, and management of development teams
• Work with the Lead Game Designer to determine software requirements and system impacts
• Enhance existing software by analyzing and identifying areas for optimization or refactoring
• Create technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests
• Assist with application maintenance by monitoring and correcting software defects
• Mentor junior developers in industry best practices, procedures, and concepts

• relevant experience in implementing and coordinating the implementation of large software projects
• 8+ years experience in the complete software development life-cycle
